I look for all the sleep clues, try getting her to sleep when she’s been awake for 1-2 hours, try to keep her from getting overtired, everything I can think of to try and help her get to sleep. But she usually ends up crying for an hour before she falls asleep, then only sleeps for half an hour sometimes because she’s exhausted. I’ve been trying to get her on a relaxed schedule to help, but it always falls apart. She ends up fighting sleep too long, then I think she’s hungry, but she’s too tired to nurse and the crying continues. Any suggestions?
