@Faith – Thank you for stopping by our sleepy little village and for sharing your little girl with us. It sounds like you all have a very solid bedtime routine! 2 years old can be a pretty wonky time for sleep overall – you may want to consider the timing of her sleep to be sure you’re asking her to sleep at a time that she’s tired enough for sleep or tweaking her routine if any part of it is too stimulating for her. This article overviews a 2 year old’s sleep a bit more for you and may offer some tips as well for you: https://www.babysleepsite.com/toddlers/5-things-about-2-year-old-toddler-sleep/ Hang in there, Faith!

My daughter will be 2 in a couple of weeks. We bath her, put pjs on, read a story, turn on an audible book, and tell her nigh nigh. I feel like our routine is great except that most nights it takes an hour or hour and half for her to fall asleep. I stay in her room until she falls asleep, giving her loves, pats, playing with hair but she just wants to play. She won’t play as much with my husband but I don’t want him to put her to sleep every night. I’d like to do it too…. we start her bed time routine around 7:15 in hopes she is asleep by 8:30. However, she usually doesn’t go to sleep until 9, 9:30.

Oh. Oops. I was bouncing between articles. I meant to post that in the “5 month schedule” article

@Rachel Welcome to our sleepy little village! I’m not sure what feeding times to which you’re referring. You may have commented on a different article than intended. I can tell you not all babies increase to 4 hours between feedings, though, especially breastfed babies. Good luck and thank you for commenting!

I thought they could go 4hours after 4 months
